Arie Scherson – Netsphere Course Review [2021] By A Non-Affiliate

Hey all, welcome to my NetSphere eCommerce course by Arie Scherson.

I’ve gotten to know Arie on YouTube and recently just realized that he has his own dropshipping course. Arie first came up with Ecom Inner Circle which is now closed to new members and now he has a new course called Netsphere.

Arie seemed like a genuine guy on YouTube whenever I watch his videos. Now I want to find out whether he also brings that energy to his course.

If you’re here to see whether this is the of course for you, then please read on.

Before I start, just a quick disclaimer that I’m not an affiliate of Arie Scherson and any of his courses. This review will come from a third-party view and I’m not going to profit from writing this review for you in any way.

I have done dropshipping before and took a few dropshipping courses that I thought I will help my readers here to make an educated decision before jumping into any course out there.

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

Is Netsphere eCommerce course legit? Here’s the truth..

Netsphere Summary

Product: Dropshipping course
Founder: Arie Scherson
Price: $35/month or $195/year or $295 lifetime
Rating: 60/100
Recommended: Sure, but…
Summary: Netsphere is an eCommerce membership-based course founded by Arie Scherson, one of the content creators on YouTube sharing his insights on the eCommerce business.

It’s been raved to be one of the best structured and straight-to-the-point eCommerce courses out there at an affordable price.

But will this course be THE one for you? Let’s figure it out together.

What Is Dropshipping?

Dropshipping is when you promote and sell a third-party product without handling the product creation, inventory and shipping.

When an order comes into your store, instead of wrapping and shipping out the products, the wholesaler or supplier will be the one that does the fulfilment.

Therefore, you only really need to focus on the front end and making sure sales are coming in for you to get your “cut”.

The cut is the difference on the retail price minus the wholesale price. If you’d prefer to learn this more through a video and animation, you can watch the video below:

Important to note: Please don’t get mislead with screenshots of sales that these “gurus” are making. Those are sales numbers. It’s typical for a dropshipping business to only take home 1-20% from the sales.

What Is Netsphere?

netsphere course review

Netsphere to me, after doing my research is not only a dropshipping course that can help you start your dropshipping business but also a course that can help you go even further than that, by creating your own brand.

I believe this is something that Arie has done as well.

Arie mentioned that this course is a community not only for dropshippers but also for digital marketers and other eCommerce business owners out there. It’s a bit misleading on this part to which I’ll explain more in the next sections of this review.

Even though the sales page doesn’t look as fancy or it doesn’t have all the hype that other courses have, it doesn’t mean that the course isn’t any good.

I do believe that the course gives value, but it might not be for everyone and it isn’t exactly the best dropshipping course out there.

If you would like to follow the footprints of Arie, then you might be able to learn more in the course and the community.

That said, let’s take a deeper look into what makes this course unique.

What Makes Netsphere Unique?

Right of the bat, this course is not just about dropshipping. Arie shares about how you can take your business even further by creating your own brand and the possibility to have everything “headquartered” in the US.

I know this is not impossible because even Franklin has done this and well, Gymshark.

Another point is that, he shares with you another trick that no other dropshipping courses I’ve reviewed had done so far – creating your own affiliate program.

When I was dropshipping before, one of my “inspired” stores was this one novelty store that sells random things that many quirky teenagers would love. And they have one of the biggest networks of affiliates out there.

Now I don’t think Arie will give that in-depth detail on how to go about affiliate program processes but since you do have the community, perhaps this is something that you can have a discussion on.

How Much Does Netsphere Cost?

netsphere course review

Monthly membership of $35 per month, annual membership of $195 per year or a lifetime membership of $295.

You can choose on which payment plan that you think would fit your budget more.

But my advice is to just give the course a try for a couple of months. Meaning that you’ll only be spending $70 (2 months) and review whether the course is for you or not.

If you feel like your store is taking off and you are finding a lot of values from the community, you can go for the lifetime membership. Do this when your store is already making money so that this community or course will pay for itself.

What’s In Netsphere?

Module 1: Welcome

This is just an introduction section to the course.

Arie tells you on how to go about the course and what’s the best course of action going through it.

Module 2: The Foundation

This module is where you will learn how to start creating your own eCommerce store. Arie suggests a few apps that you should install for your stores to increase conversions as well as setting up email marketing.

This section is actually really detail without it being too overwhelming. From picking the right type of store to uploading your products as well as semi-automate your store’s fulfilment.

Module 3: Finding Winning Products

Most dropshipping courses are all about finding winning products. And here, Arie teaches just that.

He shows different methods for you to find your products and adding supplementary products to add to your store.

The module is fine but not necessarily the most comprehensive. There’s no lesson on building relationship with suppliers or even choosing your suppliers.

That said, you will still be able to learn different methods of searching for the-ever-changing winning and trending products to sell. If you can’t tell, this is the part that I don’t like to do when dropshipping.

Module 4: Instagram Influencer Marketing

This is a pretty short module in the course, where Arie teaches on how to start finding Instagram influencers that can actually help you make more sales.

A lot of the other courses also touch on this topic – including the course I had back in 2016.

This isn’t exactly new, but you can definitely give this a go.

Module 5: The Art of Facebook Ads

Like any other dropshipping course, you will be learning the art of doing Facebook Ads. And this module is just like an introductory module for you to understand how Facebook Asd work before you move on to the next 2 modules that are going to go more in-depth in the subject.

Module 6: Facebook Ad Testing

You will first learn the basics on how to get your FB page, Business Manager, Ad Account all set up. You will also get to see how to install the necessary pixels on your store.

This module is pretty heavy so you will need to write down some notes.

He teaches from creating a good ad campaign to creating video ads as well as writing your ad copy.

It’s pretty thorough and by the time you finish this module, you will know how to handle Facebook Ads already.

Module 7: Advanced Facebook Ads

This module comes once you’re had some success with your initial campaigns on Facebook.

Arie will teach you how to scale your ads and relook at the targeting that you can move to once you get good results or seeing patterns.

And you will learn how to retarget your customers via Catalog Sales – one of my favorite campaigns on Facebook simply because it works beautifully, most of the time.

Module 8: Building Back End Systems For Automation

This is where you will learn to make sure that you have your backend set up properly and ready to go, like setting up your abandoned carts email, setting up chatbot, etc.

In my opinion, this is something that you want to tackle fast so you’re not missing out on anything that should have been done automatically once there are visitors coming in to your store.

Don’t leave money on the table.

Module 9: Building A Long Term Business

Remember when I told you that Arie will teach you on how to make your store go even further?

Well, this is where you will learn how to do so by branding your store right, building a strong team, affiliate programs as well as taking care of your business’s cash flow or profits and losses.

Module 10: Student Resources

These are templates and other, well, resources that can make your business a whole lot easier.

Not many courses actually offer these so do take advantage of them if you decide to get into Arie’s course.

Is Netsphere A Scam?

No, Netsphere eCommerce course is not a scam.

You will get what you pay for and the access to the community.

It’s just the matter of whether or not this is the course that suits you and fits your vision of where you want to take your eCommerce or dropshipping store.

The price isn’t the most expensive I’ve seen though if it’s a membership-based program, I do expect to have more training on the course itself.

There are modules that I think should have been included to which I will explain more below on the cons of this course.

What I Like About Netsphere

1) Info On Building A Brand

I do think that in order for your dropshipping business to be more sustainable and become bigger, having a strong brand is extremely crucial.

And this is something that Arie covers in the course.

If you do want to take your dropshipping business to another level, you can learn a thing or two here.

2) Affordable To Test Out

Though there isn’t any refund policy, I think the price that you pay to test out the course is really affordable.

It reminds me of my #1 recommended training platform – though my training platform gives out free membership for you to take a peak.

That said, even if you take 2 months to digest everything, you’ll still only pay $70. And if you do love the community very much, they do have a lifetime plan that you can take.

Meaning there are options for you. Unlike any courses where you need to pay hundreds of dollars to get and with very little room to ask for refund.

What I DON’T Like About Netsphere

1) No Google Ads or SEO

For a membership-based course, I was expecting the course to have more modules.

And for a course that can help your business grows even further, I do think it’s imperative to have an SEO and Google Ads module in the course because these two will help the store generate sales more consistently without depending only on Facebook Ads.

2) Only Facebook Ads and Instagram Influencer

This is related to my last point.

But for a community that’s said to be for digital marketers and eCommerce business alikes, the course is only focusing on Facebook Ads and Instagram influencers.

As a digital marketer, I need a lot more juice and reasons to stay in a community.

Is Dropshipping Still Worth It?

1) Only When You Have Capital

Dropshipping is really NOT for someone who are strapped with money. There are so many other expenses that you will need to pay such as:

– Shopify hosting
– Domain name
– Transaction Fee
– Facebook Ads
– Instagram Influencer
– Additional paid apps
– Outsourcing

So unless you have at least $2,500 to spare to start this business model, dropshipping unfortunately is not for you. You’ll be spending at least $2,000 to get started with Facebook Ads– and that won’t even guarantee any sales coming in.

2) Not The Best Business Model

As I’ve mentioned in 2021, dropshipping isn’t exactly the best business model out there. A lot of people already know the trick of “free product + shipping” and asking them to wait for 2-3 weeks for product delivery is a deal-breaker.

Put yourself in the customer’s shoe, will you go and buy a product from a store that will take 2-3 weeks to ship the products to you or you’d rather go to and get your products delivered the next day?

I’d go with And that brings me to the next point.

A Better Way To Make Money

After I left dropshipping, I found a better way to make money online that is a lot more passive and won’t need me to fork out so much capital when first starting out.

I really wish I’d found this sooner.

I switched from doing a dropshipping business to affiliate marketing.

Simply because;

– it was free for me to get started
– I don’t need to be running ads all the time
– my traffic is organic, therefore a lot more sustainable
– I don’t need to handle refunds or customer service
– it’s much easier for me to do with a 9-5 job

See how a stay-at-home-mum student from my #1 recommended training platform was able to make $2K from her new website with a new affiliate offer.
