Hey all, welcome to my Tribe course review.

You’ve probably been introduced to this product from your emails or seen some people promoting this product on your make money online group, hyping up how easy it is for you to make $150+ per day.

The system and concept that the product is teaching aren’t exactly hard, in fact, many successful bloggers and internet marketers out there have been doing the very same system for quite some time.

But without having a website and email list, can the product actually live up to the hype?

Can Tribe be the training that you’re waiting for to be able to make money online?

Well, in this review I’ll share with you how to the course really teaches and why the product isn’t as great as you might think if you want to consistently make money and get commission.

And as mentioned in the title, I’m not an affiliate of the course. Therefore, this is my honest and unbiased third-party review. Again, I’m not going to profit in any way should you decide to get the course, ok?

At the end of the review, I’ll also show you perhaps a better and more sustainable way of making money online that perhaps you haven’t heard of before.

What Is Tribe Course?

Is Tribe Course A Scam

Product Name: Tribe
Price: $9 + Upsells
Owner: Fergal Downes and Ben Martin
Recommended? Yes and No. More explanation below.

Tribe course is a training that you can get to know an alternative way to get traffic to your affiliate marketing offers.

Since in the affiliate marketing business, traffic is key to get a commission, Fergal and Ben had come up with a training of the exact method that they have previously used to generate commission day in and day out.

Hacking” 2.7 billion users means that you’ll be focusing on the users on Facebook.

The training is mostly on creating a Facebook group, getting targeted users who are ready to buy products into the group and monetize them with a few tricks.

Let’s go through the product more in-depth below.

How Tribe Course Really Works

Tribe course’s concept of creating a Facebook group isn’t new. As mentioned many bloggers or public figures have been doing the exact same strategy to nurture leads and convert them whenever there’s a new offer.

The one thing that’s different though, all these successful bloggers and internet marketers actually have other traffic sources to their business too like having an email list, an active website, and content, as well as other social media accounts.

But, this course, it’s only teaching you how to grow your Facebook group and promote to them certain products from JVZoo and Warriorplus.

I guess you can also promote other products that you want, but in this case they are mainly focusing on the products from the two platforms.

Here are the steps that you are going to learn:

1) Create your own Facebook group, including setting up the cover photo
2) Create your pinned post (#1 post that members will see when they go into the group)
3) Set up your questions when members are requesting to join
4) Set up landing page URL on your FB profile
5) Generate traffic from other FB groups
6) Promote products to the group
7) Engage with the members and still direct them towards an offer
8) Utilize Facebook LIVE
9) Rinse and repeat

The steps are pretty simple, but you do need to spend more time upfront setting up the Facebook group, getting traffic, and so on before getting to only work on for “10 minutes” a day, as Fergal claims.

Even though the product is pretty straightforward, I had some reservations towards the course.

Here are some of my reservations:

1) Promoting subpar products

With the concept of building a Facebook group, you can actually promote any products or niche that you want. However, that’s not exactly what’s being taught in the course.

It mainly encourages you to promote other JVZoo’s products and Clickbank’s products. If you’re new to affiliate marketing, many of the products from Clickbank and JVZoo are low-quality products.

That said, you can figure out other products to promote that you actually believe in, instead of just looking to make a quick buck.

2) Facebook group alone is not enough.

In the course, it’s only teaching you how to create a Facebook group and monetize from there but it certainly comes with a few risks, if you’re only relying on that traffic source.

Since Facebook has changed its algorithms many times, your traffic source, aka Facebook group is at the mercy of Facebook’s algorithm. Should they decide to no longer give groups the priority on people’s newsfeed, then your traffic source and commissions will suffer.

This has happened before with Facebook pages. When a lot of businesses are trying to get people to like their pages, so that the users can get updates and easily be reached, Facebook did an algorithm change- that turned many businesses upside down.

Now, Facebook pages can only reach 1% of their fans with their posts.

Therefore, it’s necessary to build a more long lasting traffic source and create your own online asset like your very own website and getting targeted organic traffic.

3) Email marketing training is missing

The course didn’t touch on email marketing but if you do go to Fergal’s Facebook group, you will notice that in order for the members to join, they are required to share their email addresses.

This is one organic way for you to get email leads but it’s going to be pointless when you’re not sure how to handle email marketing.

And I’m sure that some of the earnings that Fergal has gotten will also come from his newsletter outside of the Facebook group.

4) Facebook group maintenance.

Fregal and Ben didn’t mention this on their sales page but with any Facebook groups out there, you do have to spend some time just to moderate the Facebook groups day in and day out.

Because there will be members who are going to ask questions or give complaints. And if you don’t answer them, you’ll not build any kind of trust with them and trust is needed if you want them to buy what you’re offering/promoting.

You could either spend more time on the group or outsource a virtual assistant to help moderate the group. But this will either take more than 10 minutes of your time per day or take some money out of you.

Is Tribe Course A Scam or Legit?

No, Tribe course from Fregal and Ben isn’t a scam. It’s a legitimate training that you can get and make money to a certain extent.

It’s a good strategy to create your own Facebook group but it definitely won’t be enough to create a sustainable affiliate marketing in the next 10 years.

Mainly because you’re at the mercy of Facebook and no other online assets to rely on.

I’ve seen many Facebook groups that are very active in the beginning but had since died out because members are no longer communicating or admins are no longer moderating questions and discussions.

Also, worth mentioning here that the Tribe course has multiple upsells coming your way when you decide to get the course. From paying the $9 front-end price, you might end up paying $217.

You definitely won’t go broke or bankrupt with $344 out of your pocket. But if you were to really think about it, you can spend that money learning a more 360 strategies of affiliate marketing.

Hence, from all the cons that I’ve listed above;

I don’t recommend affiliate marketing newbies to get the course because I do think that they ought to learn to create a stronger online asset first.

However, if you’re an advanced affiliate marketer and thinking of creating another traffic source and create your own tribe on Facebook, then this course could be an additional training.

A Better Evergreen Strategy to Make Money Online

As I mentioned above, the concept of building your own tribe on Facebook isn’t a bad idea, however if you’re just starting out, you might want to focus on creating a stronger, better and more sustainable online asset first.
