Sounds good right? But there’s more to it that you need to know.
I recently saw someone on one of the dropshipping Facebook groups that I’m in talking about Rocktomic and it piqued my interest. My first thought was “Is Rocktomic a scam?” because it sounded too good to be true.
And if you’re wondering the same too, well first, you’re not alone. Second, you’ve come to the right place, making your due diligence to know whether Rocktomic is legit before you join them.
Before I get started with my Rocktomic review, just a quick disclaimer on my side that I’m not an affiliate of Rocktomic and I’m not going to profit in any way, shape or form if you decide to go ahead and subscribe to them.
This will be strictly from my third-party perspectives to shed some lights onto this company.

Product: Dropshipping service
Price: $99 to $257 per month or from $4,997 to $24,997 lifetime
Summary: Rocktomic is a dropshipping-service company that can be revolutionary to business owners who aspire to create their own private label supplements. But does that mean anyone can create their own brand of supplements if they like?
Well, yes. But not everyone necessarily will succeed. Rocktomic also comes with a few disadvantages to business owners that this post is going to cover.
If you’d like to know whether Rocktomic is legit or not, keep on reading.
What Is Rocktomic?
Rocktomic is basically a company that can help you private label your own brand or company to supplements products of your choice.
They have multiple products that you can choose from to private label.
The thing that is unique about Rocktomic is that:
- They don’t have any MOQ (minimum order requirement)
- They do the fulfilment for you
- They ship worldwide
- They offer the products at wholesale price while you sell at retail price
Sounds familiar? It’s basically the same concept of print-on-demand business for dropshippers. But instead of selling t-shirts or merchandise, you’re selling supplements.
Now there are other companies out there that can private label your brand to their supplements products as well, but they usually have 100/200/300 MOQ that you need to fulfil first. And that means that you need to put the capital upfront and not knowing whether you’ll be able to sell them or not.
On paper, the concept of Rocktomic is great.
It gives opportunities for small business owners to start their own supplement brand with little risk. But unfortunately, it’s not as easy as it sounds which I’m going to explain in more detail below.
Since they are mainly a dropshipping-service based company, you are going to be launching your own “dropshipping” business. And if you’re new to the term, you can learn more what it is all about below.
What Is Dropshipping?
Dropshipping is when you promote and sell a third-party product without handling the product creation, inventory and shipping.
When an order comes into your store, instead of wrapping and shipping out the products, the wholesaler or supplier will be the one that does the fulfilment.
Therefore, you only really need to focus on the front end and making sure sales are coming in for you to get your “cut”.

What Products Can You Sell With Rocktomic?
Rocktomic offers hundreds of products that you can private label and if you don’t see them on the website – it’s okay, you’re not alone.
To access the “true” website with the catalogues and the their price plans, you can go here.
Basically they offer 10 different categories of products that you can choose from:
- Weight Loss & Detox
- Men’s Beard Care
- Women’s Health & Beauty
- Men’s Health
- Sports Nurtition
- Pet Supplements
- General Health
- Premium Supplements Line (requires MOQ)
- Apparel (requires MOQ)
In my opinion, with hundreds of supplement sellers out there (I mean, look at Amazon), you need to make sure that your supplement products are of quality and have an edge to stand out among the rest.
And if you want that edge, it’s only available with the premium supplements line that requires minimum order requirement. It’s not a lot but you will still have to get them shipped to your place before shipping them to the customers.
I don’t particularly like the apparel section because honestly you can get a far better deal with Teelaunch or Printify – perhaps with better t-shirt quality that you can choose from. You can’t choose the quality with Rocktomic.
Also, if you want to access the premium supplements line and the apparel, you will need to upgrade your membership. I’m going to go through the price plans below.
Rocktomic Price Plans – Is It Worth It?
There are three different membership levels that you can choose – Silver, Gold, or Platinum.
And you will also be able to choose whether you want to pay for the subscription monthly or in one-time payment.
Note that even if you decide to pay the lifetime amount, you’ll still need to pay the PLDS monthly fee at $57/month. PLDS is the ongoing support for your brands.
They also offer Logo or Label Design at $197 – I would strongly recommend not to.
I’ve seen a review whereby the work does not justify the price at all and you can definitely get better and cheaper one made from Fiverr.
Should You Get The Monthly Plan Or Lifetime?
If you’re new, always go with the monthly one first before investing such amount of money to something you’re not sure whether it’s going to work. You will definitely get more bonuses with lifetime membership such as:

It’s nice that if you get the Platinum Lifetime ($24,997) plan, you will get access to DigitalMarketer Lab+ training. But it’s only available if you take the most expensive package – that means if you really get to see a lot of success with this business.
That said, that’s not the only payment that you will need to pay Rocktomic. For every product you sell and Rocktomic fulfil for you, you will still need to pay fulfilment fee.
If you take the cheapest plan Silver on monthly payment, you will incur $2 fulfilment fee + $0.50 second item.
What I Like About Rocktomic
1) Nice Concept
I genuinely think that the concept of Rocktomic is a good one. You’ll be able to private label your own products and that will results with better and stronger branding for your company.
That said, with Rocktomic out, I realized now that not all products can have the same concept – and I do believe that supplement industry is one of them.
That brings me to my next point.
What I DON’T Like About Rocktomic
1) Barrier to Supplements Industry
Supplement industry isn’t exactly the easiest to penetrate. You are competing with the likes of GNC, Melaleuca and not to mention the army of supplement suppliers on Amazon.
Unless you’re a fitness trainer or the likes with a massive following base, getting into the supplement industry won’t exactly be the easiest way to start earning money.
Also, my personal opinion, you should really be careful with the company that you’re dealing with that makes your formula. You want to make sure it’s of the highest quality and something that you are 100% confident can help others – because this is literally something that people take into the body.
2) Expensive to Start
If you’re a beginner, this venture can be quite expensive to start. Sure, it’s much cheaper than getting your own brick and mortar shop but it’s definitely not the cheapest way to earn money online.
Rocktomic’s monthly subscription with the dropshipping business side aren’t exactly cheap to maintain month to month with money that you always need to use for advertising spend.
Is Rocktomic A Scam?
No, Rocktomic is not a scam.
You will still get the service that you pay for, although things might not move as fast if you’re just starting out. The possibility of you having to test them for more than a month is definitely there.
As I mentioned before, Rocktomic is a very nice concept for someone to start their own supplement business. That said, in my opinion you need to have a very strong base of people following you for you to convince them to buy your supplements.
And if you do have that strong base, you can guess how much you’ll be able to sell and perhaps go to a manufacturer straight and deal with them. Yes, you will need to fork up the capital because there will be a MOQ, but you won’t be needing to pay any monthly fees and fulfilment fee for every product you sell.
But, if you think you’re not ready to buy into those bulk orders, Rocktomic can be one solution – although, in the long run it might not necessarily be the cheapest way for you to run your business.
Even though Rocktomic and dropshipping business might sound easy to start, there are a few things you will need to consider.
Is Dropshipping Still Worth It In 2021?
I know that eCommerce is still growing year by year, especially now that many of us are stuck inside the house, eCommerce has truly changed the game for us.
That said, it doesn’t mean many solo stores like dropshipping can thrive under this eCommerce boom simply because there are giants in the industry like Amazon that can guarantee shipping time and offer a lot more variety within a single receipt.
Here are 3 reasons why I no longer think dropshipping busines is still worth it:
1) Only When You Have Capital
Dropshipping is really NOT for someone who are strapped with money. There are so many other expenses that you will need to pay such as:
– Shopify hosting
– Domain name
– Transaction Fee
– Facebook Ads
– Instagram Influencer
– Additional paid apps
So unless you have AT LEAST $2,500 to spare to start this business model, dropshipping unfortunately is not for you. You’ll be spending at least $2,000 to get started with Facebook Ads – and that won’t even guarantee any sales coming in.
2) Vicious Cycle
If you argue that you will be able to take home $2,000/mo if you get to make $10,000/mo, I’m sorry to break it down to you but that $2,000 will need to be re-invested to find another winning product and be spent for Facebook Ads testing.
This is one of the biggest reasons I quit dropshipping.
A lot of beginners are not aware of this vicious, vicious cycle.
3) Not The Best Business Model
As I’ve mentioned in 2021, dropshipping isn’t exactly the best business model out there. A lot of people already know the trick of “free product + shipping” and asking them to wait for 2-3 weeks for product delivery is a deal-breaker.
Put yourself in the customer shoe, will you go and buy a product from a store that will take 2-3 weeks to ship the products to you or you’d rather go to Amazon.com and get your products delivered the next day?
I’d go with Amazon.com. And that brings me to the next point.
A Better Way To Make Money
After I left dropshipping, I found a better way to make money online that is a lot more passive and won’t need me to fork out so much capital when first starting out.
I really wish I’d found this sooner.
I switched from doing a dropshipping business to affiliate marketing.
- it was free for me to get started
- I don’t need to be running ads all the time
- my traffic is organic, therefore a lot more sustainable
- I don’t need to handle refunds or customer service
- it’s much easier for me to do with a 9-5 job
