Hey all, welcome to my Ecommerce Empire Builders review.
This dropshipping course was created by another YouTube eCommerce figure – Peter Pru which teaches a slightly different approach to dropshipping.
The course boasts about being able to replace your full-time income in as little as 30 days. But can you really? Can we actually replace our income within a month of enrolling in the course?
Well, this review is just going to figure out if that’s possible and whether or not the course is worth the high price tag.
As always, I’m not associated by any means with the course. Therefore I’m not going to profit anything should you decide to take up on the Ecommerce Empire Builders course.
So if you’re ready, let’s figure out whether the course can live up to its promise.
|Ecommerce Empire Builders Summary|
Product: Dropshipping course
Founder: Peter Pru
Price: $1.997 one-time or 5 payments of $497
Recommended: Sure, but…
Summary: Peter Pru is one of the well-known YouTubers sharing content on how to succeed in eCommerce. He has a big following on YouTube and his other social media accounts. Comparing to other dropshipping courses or gurus, Peter took another approach to make sales with his eCommerce stores.
Instead of the more “traditional” way of dropshipping, he focuses on creating sales funnels.
Now can this sales funnels trick actually change the game of dropshipping? Let’s figure it out together..
What Is Dropshipping?
Dropshipping is when you promote and sell a third party product without handling the product creation, inventory and shipping.
When an order comes into your store, instead of wrapping and shipping out the products, the wholesaler or supplier will be the one that does the fulfilment.
Therefore, you only really need to focus on the front end and making sure sales are coming in for you to get your “cut”.
The cut is the difference on the retail price minus the wholesale price. If you’d prefer to learn this more through a video and animation, you can watch the video below:
Now let’s see how the Ecommerce Empire Builders course can help you strategize and build your dropshipping business.
What Is Ecommerce Empire Builders?
Ecommerce Empire Builders is one of the few dropshipping courses that didn’t go with the traditional way of creating a dropshipping business – Shopify store + AliExpress way.
Instead of using Shopify, Peter Pru, the founder, swears by creating funnels with ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels has been known to be extremely useful when creating landing pages and maximizing sales for any kind of business.
But can this actually work with dropshipping?
I’ve seen someone who does dropshipping this way and it worked for him. And since Peter is a 2 comma club with ClickFunnels, I’m sure he know what he’s talking about.
Peter claimed that if you were to take action and do the training to the T, you will be able to replace your full time income in 30 days. I think it really depends on how much is your current income and how much time you can actually dedicate to building this business.
That being said, if you did put in your work and haven’t seen a positive ROI (meaning profit not sales), you can request a refund and they will actually double your money back.
Apart from that, if you go their website, you can see that they award the students who’ve managed to reach a certain figures in the business.
Though I believe the $10K and $50K awards are based on their sales…and not profits.
What Makes Ecommerce Empire Builders Unique?
Ecommerce Empire Builders dropshipping course is pretty unique in the way that they actually utilize funnels instead of a normal Shopify store.
So the content of the course isn’t exactly the most widespread content out there on YouTube and not many dropshipping gurus actually use this system.
If you’re not exactly sure about using ClickFunnels, you can check out Peter Pru’s Udemy course first here for only $12.99 (on sale) or $19.99 normal price.
He also does free courses there, so if you just want to have a sneak peek at how much value you can get from the full course, you can definitely go with his low priced courses first.

Ecommerce Empire Academy Course Breakdown
Module #1: The Mindset Shift
This is where you’ll get tips on how to have the right mindset before going through the whole program. If you’re someone who’s usually short on time to work on this project, you’ll probably learn a thing or two on how to optimize your daily time management.
I actually would like them to be 100% real that this business is not a get-rich-quick scheme for people to do. But they already boast that students can replace their income within 30 days, so…
Module #2: Markets & Offers
Peter will teach you on how to do your research to find profitable niches and the products that you can sell within your niche. How to create your offers and Peter’s own pricing strategies.
Module #3: Funnels & Continuity
This is where I guess the gem is for this course – building your funnels. You will able to use the templates that you’re given when you purchase the course that said to be high converting.
He will also teaches you the tweaks you can do to boost sales and how to get sales from customers month on month.
Module #4: Email Marketing
He didn’t miss out on email marketing – this is pretty important for any online business honestly and you’ll be able to learn how to set up and grow your email quickly.
You’ll also learn how to craft the copy of each email to get the highest conversion rate from your customers.
Module #5: Influencer & Organic Marketing
If going for influencer marketing is one of your plans, you can learn how to go about it on this module. Peter teaches you how to contact and build relationship with your influencers so that you can constantly work together and make sales.
He also mentions that you’ll learn his “secret” free traffic sources that can give you sales.
Module #6: Facebook Advertising
To be compared with other dropshipping courses, this module isn’t exactly the most thorough or in-detail for students. It’s mostly how to make the most out of Facebook Ads but not necessarily a step-by-step module if you’re just starting out.
They really hype this part on their sales page but I don’t think it’s anything new than other Facebook Ads techniques that you can find on YouTube or other dropshipping courses.
Module #7: Scaling & Sales Channels
So once you’ve past 6 figure sales, you would want to start scaling your business and start outsourcing some of the processes.
This is where Peter will guide you through it and make it a more full-fledged online business. You will also get the list of Peter’s business resources when it comes suppliers, manufacturers, etc.
Is Ecommerce Empire Builders A Scam?
No, Ecommerce Empire Builders is not a scam, the academy and the course are legit.
You will still get something for your money when you get the course – about 15 hours of video content.
It’s really up to you on how you perceive the course – I personally think that there are a few things that they should cover if they were to charge that high of a price tag.
If you’re thinking of getting the course, please note that you will need to subscribe to ClickFunnels – and they are not cheap, at least $97/month.
You’ll need at least $5,000 in hand to start with the course.
$2,000 for the course itself, $1,000 to pay for tools and subscription that you’re more likely need to get to get started and $2,000 to test and run ads.
What I Like About Ecommerce Empire Builders
1) Another Dropshipping Technique
Instead of having the normal Shopify + AliExpress way, Peter has something else to bring to the table. I know ClickFunnels can do wonders for your store no matter whether you’re selling physical or digital products.
So I’m sure you’ll find something new to learn in the course.
I’ve actually seen someone in a Facebook group doing this technique a few years ago when I was still doing dropshipping. But it’s never been promoted or taught in a course so I guess you’ll have your chance here.
What I DON’T Like About Ecommerce Empire Builders
1) Only Focuses On Sales Funnels
Even though I do like the fact that they are doing something else, that doesn’t mean they should drop everything else…
For example, the Facebook Ads module is still very basic to be compared to other (much) cheaper courses out there.
There’s also no module or guidance when it comes to Google Ads or SEO. I think with that price, you should be able to get more juice out of the course. But other than the funnel part, there are other courses that far surpass the content value of Ecommerce Empire Builders.
2) Course + ClickFunnels = Expensive
The course comes with an expensive price tag. Not everyone can actually afford $1,997 course.
And I don’t really like the fact that they didn’t put a disclaimer or let users know that there will be other expenses that they will need to pay to be able to do the course.
Only to mention that you need to budget from “$200 – $500” to pay for a software.
ClickFunnels is not cheap for users to start paying when they are just starting out. I think this should be written on the sales page.
Also, this might only be me but I’m sure Peter is also profiting off the affiliate sales they are making when his students get ClickFunnels using his link – and ClickFunnels’s affiliate commission is pretty high (40%-50% recurring commission by the way).
With this in mind, am I the only one who’s wondering why do they need to make this course that expensive…?
Is Dropshipping Still Worth It?
1) Only When You Have Capital
Dropshipping is really NOT for someone who are strapped with money. There are so many other expenses that you will need to pay such as:
– Domain name
– Transaction Fee
– Facebook Ads
– Instagram Influencer
– Additional paid apps
So unless you have at least $5,000 to spare to start this business model, dropshipping unfortunately is not for you. You’ll be spending at least $2,000 to get started – and that won’t even guarantee any sales coming in.
2) Not The Best Business Model
As I’ve mentioned in 2021, dropshipping isn’t exactly the best business model out there. A lot of people already know the trick of “free product + shipping” and asking them to wait for 2-3 weeks for product delivery is a deal-breaker.
Put yourself in the customer shoe, will you go and buy a product from a store that will take 2-3 weeks to ship the products to you or you’d rather go to Amazon.com and get your products delivered the next day?
I’d go with Amazon.com. And that brings me to the next point.
Alternative To Make Money
After I left dropshipping, I found a better way to make money online that is a lot more passive and won’t need me to fork out so much capital when first starting out.
I really wish I’d found this sooner.
I switched from doing a dropshipping business to affiliate marketing.
– it was free for me to get started
– I don’t need to be running ads all the time
– my traffic is organic, therefore a lot more sustainable
– I don’t need to handle refunds or customer service
– it’s much easier for me to do with a 9-5 job
